Men's Events

"Man Friday" and "Men's Breakfast" provide a varied set of activities that aim to encourage Men in their relationships with the Lord, with one another and with the Church as a whole. It is a great opportunity to relax together and make new friends and with over 80 men at St John’s it would be good for us all to consider how we can encourage one another more. Please do support some of the events coming up and consider if any of your friends would like to join in.

Man Friday

Man Friday is a frequent social event with the men of the church, where we enjoy a wide variety of different fellowship activities. As you may guess from the name, these are usually on Fridays! In the past we have taken part in many activities including meals together, group walks, and even a caving trip.

For dates coming up please see the noticesheet.

Men's Breakfast

Men's Breakfast is a social gathering held on a Saturday morning every other month. The format is that we sit down to breakfast (traditional full English breakfast with the option of a healthy alternative for those who wish) and enjoy open discussion of a light social nature, followed by a presentation by a guest speaker. We start at 8am and always finish by 9am so that those who need to can get away.

For dates coming up please see the noticesheet.
